The Session Fee: This fee secures your date on our calendar and covers the photographer’s time and talent, as well as your private in-person viewing appointment.

A Built-in Credit: To help you begin your collection, your entire session fee is applied as a credit toward your heirloom product purchase.

Tailored Collections: Digitals, fine art prints, and products are purchased separately during your ordering session, allowing you to customize a collection that fits your home.

What to Expect: While a $600 minimum purchase is required for each ordering appointment, our clients typically invest between $1,000–$2,500 to bring their favorite memories home.
Note: All session fees are non-refundable and required to secure your date with CHP. Product credits apply specifically to physical artwork and are not applicable toward digital-only orders.

Maternity portraits are ideally captured between 28–34 weeks when your bump is beautifully round.

Newborn portraits are best scheduled within the first 7–21 days after birth to capture those sleepy, curled-up poses. By booking early, you secure priority placement on our calendar for both of these fleeting milestones.

Timing & Booking
When is the best time to book my session?
For Maternity and Newborn sessions, it is best to reach out during your second trimester. This ensures space on my calendar around your due date. For Cake Smashes and Milestones, I recommend booking 2–3 months in advance.
How do we choose a date for a Newborn session?
Since babies rarely arrive on their due date, I reserve a spot for you based on your expected due date. Once your baby arrives, we finalize the exact session date within the first 5–14 days of life.
Where do sessions take place?
Most sessions take place in my luxury, 1,000 sq. ft. studio in Round Rock, TX. Outdoor family and maternity sessions are held at scouted locations throughout the Greater Austin area, typically scheduled during the "Golden Hour" before sunset.

What is the "Client Closet"?
To make your experience stress-free, I provide a curated collection of over 100 high-end gowns for moms, as well as outfits for siblings and newborns. You don’t need to worry about buying a thing—I’ve got you covered!
Do I get the digital files?
Yes. All of my collections include a specific number of high-resolution digital files. However, I am a full-service photographer, meaning I also offer luxury heirloom albums and custom wall art so your memories don't just live on a hard drive.
What should I bring to my session?
Very little! For studio sessions, just the essentials for your baby. For outdoor shoots, I recommend water and a "dry" snack for kids. I handle all the props, wraps, headbands, and backdrops.
